Growing up I lived in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in an area where Stones River National Battlefield is. Since childhood, I've always

imaginary friends that turned out to be real people at one time. I would go to the grocery store with my mom. People would stop us and

say your daughter sees into the spiritual realm. That would freak my mom out. School was hard for me then also.

My imaginary friends would come with me there too.

There was a drummer boy who would always be with me. He had a dog named Bonehead.

My mom would tell me not to talk about them. So that side of me became super suppressed.

I had to go to a therapist. Let's put on medications.

As a teen and young adult, I never felt like I belonged.

I never could completely be myself. Earth is this foreign place to me. Could never take religion in. I never felt

alone though. I would see things and ignore them. As an adult I moved to Virginia Beach. I got married to my husband, Corey.

He came from a religious home.

His dad gave him an exorcism as a teenager because he enjoyed art and would draw the woman's body. He was taught physics are the devil and that spirits aren't real even though they teach us the Holy Ghost in the Bible, a lot of contradictory there.

Cori also had a bad seizure disorder.

In the beginning of our marriage, Cori and I used to get in a lot of arguments about religion,

why I don't believe in the Bible and how he doesn't believe in the spiritual world, but there

would be a moment when he finally saw things my way. More on that later. Our first son, Zealand, has very high-functioning

ass burgers. When I turned 30, I was pregnant with my son, Bodai. It was becoming clear that

I would need help with both of them, so my growing family moved to Union City, Tennessee.

My mom was in the process of looking for land to build there and had a duplex in town, we moved in with her. In that duplex, I kept having dreams of this woman and child. The woman would sing that nursery rhyme. One, to buckle my shoe.

And that was it. I didn't tell anyone about my weird dreams.
