So again, today we're doing something a little bit different. We are covering what might be the single most famous UFO case in all of history is the Roswell incident.

And again, what we're going to do today is split it into two parts.

For Act 1, I'm going to read the story to you completely off the teleprompter.

I'm going to maintain all of the conspiracy, all of the suspense.

I'm not going to shingle over the idea that it's aliens right at the beginning and break everything down for you.

There is going to be no skepticism.

And then we're going to have our fun because I have the case file, which, hopefully, in my view, dismisses all of it.

And if it doesn't, then I guess we've proven aliens.

So, without further ado,

let's get into part one where I believe everything.

One day, in the summer of 1947, a rancher in New Mexico was out inspecting his property,

checking his fence for damage,

when he came across a rather strange sight.

Some kind of unknown device or aircraft had crashed on his land.

Although unusual, this wasn't something the rancher was immediately suspicious of.

He had previously found two crashed weather balloons on his property, so his initial reaction was that this was probably

a crashed weather balloon. Understandable. He certainly didn't expect that he was about to start

the biggest UFO conspiracy the world has ever seen. In the 80 years that have passed since then,

countless people have put forward their own version of what happened in the New Mexico desert on that fateful day. Everyone agrees that something did indeed crash outside

of Roswell. But what? Was it simply a weather balloon brought down by a lightning storm? Was it a

top secret military prototype? Or was it an alien spaceship? The Roswell story has been around for 80 years at this
