Summary
When Dana’s family moved from a brand-new home to a house in the country, something changed almost immediately. She was a child at the time, and what first looked like a difficult adjustment quickly turned into something much darker. Night after night, she had the same terrifying dreams—visions of losing the people she loved most—and almost without fail, she would wake up downstairs outside her parents’ bedroom door.
That alone would have been disturbing enough. But then her sister noticed something she couldn’t explain: someone appeared to be walking into Dana’s room at night, yet no one was actually there. Later, visitors staying in the house reported seeing the same thing, without knowing anything about what had already happened.
Was it stress, sleepwalking, and childhood fear? Or was there something about that room that never wanted her to feel safe in it?
