Summary
A long weekend at her aunt and uncle’s new house felt easy and uneventful—until the second night, when something shifted the moment she entered the basement bedroom where she was staying.
Out of nowhere, her chest tightened and her breathing became shallow, like something was pressing in on her. The room itself was cool, but her body reacted like it wasn’t. The strangest part? The feeling eased almost immediately when she stepped out into the hallway.
