Hello, this is Simon Brew and this is a slightly weird ordering to the podcast because the

theme music is actually built into what you're about to hear. What you are about to hear is a very

special episode of the show that I recorded in London in November to celebrate 500 episodes of

the film Stories podcast.

Beforehand, I talked to the crowd at King's Place in London for about 15, 20 minutes,

hence there's like an odd Kearney Reeves reference that might not make sense when you listen to this.

And then my guest is Ramesh Ranganathan, a long-time supporter of film stories who came out for Episode 500.

There's a video version of this over on YouTube which probably fills in some of the visuals that we refer that might not entirely come across in the audio.
