Welcome to the show. This is part two of our very, very long show on the Romano family, the epic story of the last Zaren Zarina.

So we're gonna just jump right back in.

And the morning period for Poppa is over. Everyone's been crowned.

Now we're gonna settle in to how it's gonna be. And everyone was kind of looking to Alex. Is she going to be a leader of fashion?

As so many queens were. Right.

Oh, oh, were they disappointed?

She might have been a leader of fashion in a different country.

That's right. She preferred simple lines and pale colors and the Russian taste shall we say ran to excess.

The Russian people were very colorful. Architecturally their buildings are very colorful.

Their clothing was very colorful. Lots of different colored jewels, lots of low necklines.

There was a ball and Alexandra was kind of offended by some of the women's dresses.

And she sent her maid over to talk to one of the women and say, we do not dress like that in S with a response.

Well, this is how we dress in Russia.

Get used to it. Who are you?

Yeah. The hobble skirts came in. Super fashionable. The Alex was very dubious.

And instead of jumping into that badge, she had one maid for one of her ladies and lady.

And so the lady put it on and Alex folded her arms and looked and she said, I don't know about that. Why don't you run?

And then when the lady imagines somebody running with her ankles tied together and Alex is like, I thought so we're not going to be wearing that.

So who would? I mean, you couldn't even step up the stair.

How? You could maybe go down.
