and today we're talking about the third episode of Matt Weiner's new house his new series on the house

Romanov the Romanov has a house of special purpose and he does this series and it's to torment

Christina Hendricks apparently yeah I so this was an interesting episode

in that it So this was an interesting episode and that I wasn't expecting even though I said last week that this seems to be like Matthew Weiner taking kind of trophy genre things like romantic comedies and you know

suspect and kind of turning him on her head or doing a different take on it and I

felt like he continued this week with a horror film.

Like a modern kind of creepy atmospheric dread.

You're not sure what's going on kind of horror film.

And I thought it was a pretty striking success and right, you know, aired really appropriately for the season.

What did you think, Jim?

So I had stronger feelings about this episode than I did the previous two, which I think overall is a good thing.

Unfortunately, they're not all positive.

I think you're right on the money with the horror comparison. This is essentially a horror episode, but it's also, in my opinion, an examination of the

examination of the weird shit that goes on during the creation of a movie or a TV show

just like an examination of onset hijinks essentially.

As I said a horror show. A horror show.

It is a shit show, a horror show, for sure.

But here's the thing though, I felt like this episode tried,

and it's weird to say in a show that has hour and a half feature length episodes but I almost feel like
