It's 75 years since the fascist government of Romania expelled tens of thousands of its Roma gypsy citizens

to the former Soviet territory of Transnistria, where half of them died of hunger and disease.

I have been speaking to one man who was five years old when he was depreciated. hunger and It's May 1942 and Romania is cheering its fascist leader General Antonescu and his policies of ethnic purification.

Antonescu was a career officer. He was a former. nation. obsessively anti-Semitic. He was against Roma, but he was against any other minorities.
