We've been doing a series on the kingdom.

You can teach anything from the pulpit and should be on the kingdom.

But we've been doing a series on the government of the kingdom and how the kingdom actually comes

and how you can relate to spiritual authority.

We spent, I think I spent three or four or five weeks talking about the gift of prophecy

and the office of a prophet in the five full ministry.

I wanted to take off from some of that and we talked about how the gift, the Holy Spirit gift of prophecy

is a gift of the Holy Spirit. That's why it's called the Holy Spirit gift of prophecy.

This is very deep.

But the office of a prophet is a gift of Christ, Ephesians chapter 4, that Christ gave gifts to men.

When we talked about prophecy, we talked about the fact that the Paul said that you can all prophesy.

So the gift of prophecy and actually the gifts of the Spirit are for the whole entire body of Christ.

In fact, that's part of what the gifts of Christ, the five full ministry, the apostle, a prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher.

Part of what they equipped the body with is the gifts of the Spirit.

So here are the gifts of Christ or something that we should all have.

You're commanded. You're not, it's not a suggestion.

You're commanded to, to earnestly desire spiritual gifts.

And the whole body should be fully equipped with every good gift and the gifts, how many of you understand?

The gifts aren't for you. They come from you but they're for people who need healing, who need miracles, who need a prophetic word.

And so one of the most frustrating things, and I think in the Christian them, is when somebody needs healing and you didn't pray for the gift of healing,

so all you can do is give them a nice prayer of grace instead of a healing.

And I think if we realize that these gifts that God has given us are their love gifts, their God's love language.
