Hello, thanks so much for having me. It's great to meet you guys.

My name's Kim. I live in South Philadelphia. I'm from the middle of nowhere New Jersey.

Let's see, I'm a freelance or independent labor reporter, however you're going to say that.

I used to be the heavy metal editor of Vice

up until 2019 when I got laid off.

And by then my interest has shifted so much

through the course of unionizing advice

that I was like, you know what what maybe I'll just jump into this whole

other world and see how that works out and so far so good you know I've been reporting

along all kinds of strikes and organizing campaigns and I have a book coming out in April and pre-ordered
