And welcome to the Roads with Bell.

Today is January 23rd, and it's the roads to Trump's executive actions.

We're going to go over a bunch of them all at once, just to let people know what's been put out.

We'll also talk about what's an executive order and what isn't. And if you

aren't familiar with the various types of executive actions, there will be an explainer

video down below. So we're going to run through them in reverse order as they are listed

on the White House site, just in case you want to follow along. Obviously,

these are a brief summary and not exhaustive. We'll be going more in depth on them on the main

channel in the coming days. Oh, and a quick aside before we get started, Trump rescinded at least

one civil rights order dealing with hiring practices.

It does not rescind the Civil Rights Act, which is law, and cannot be rescinded by an executive order.

First listed on the White House site is the official announcement of cabinet-level positions.

Second is sub-cabinet positions.

Fourth is chair appointments.

No surprises here on any of those.

Third is acting positions.

These are people filling in until confirmations take place. No surprises.

Fifth is a proclamation saying to fly the flags at full staff for the rest of the day.

Six is rescinding a bunch, almost all, of Biden's executive orders. This is the first actual executive order.
