to revisit all of the times we've brought up the country of Venezuela and the possibility

that Trump might decide to do something

crazy there, which, if you haven't checked the news lately, he decided to do something crazy there.

And for the record, this isn't some sort of self-indulgent victory lap thing. Well, it's not only that.

I'm also kind of doing this out of necessity on account of how a recent medical emergency

and hospitalization has limited my ability to work.

I'm getting better in that regard.

In fact, the episode I'm reposting today touches on a part of the Venezuela story.

We haven't gotten around to revisiting before now, which is the hyperinflation crisis that overtook the country in the middle

part of the 2010s. At least a few of the things that come up are ripe for being updated or

elaborated upon. So when we get to those sections in the podcast, as mentioned before, you'll hear the purge siren

and I'll be dropping in with a fresh ass 2K26 update to the story.
