So we're going to see in our last episode, we talked about the origins of Spanish rule over

Texas and how that panned out over the years and then how citizens of Mexico arose

and threw off their Spanish shekels, they would have said, it became an independent nation.

But it was very unstable.

We also talked about how hundreds and then thousands of Americans immigrated into Mexico

and began settling in colonies.

And they are starting to get a taste for more and more freedom. So we're going to continue that story in this episode, which I call the Road to Revolution.
