| 0:49.4 | around the world. We've watched highly organized political operations identify voters and then |

| 0:55.1 | and then where the state law allows collect and return those completed ballots. Meanwhile, |
| 1:02.5 | too many Republicans have treated election day as if it were still just one day. So one |
| 1:08.3 | polling place with everybody standing in line to vote, and that is no longer |
| 1:12.0 | how elections work in the vast majority of American cities. And we can oppose bad election laws, |
| 1:19.1 | you guys. We can work to change those laws. But while they remain the law, refusing to understand or |
| 1:25.7 | lawfully use them is not a strategy. |
| 1:29.4 | It's a unilateral disarmament. |
| 1:32.1 | And I want to talk about it a little bit today because Democrats have invested heavily |
| 1:36.2 | in voter contact, early voting, mail ballot programs, and all kinds of things, lawful |
