Welcome to Mist Apex podcast. Jonathan Simone here. A few months ago I was talking with our guest and I asked him, have you listened to the F1 podcast? I did over the weekend and he said, what the hell is your podcast? No. He actually said, why haven't you had me on? And so here he is. Prima Formula 3 driver James Wharton. How you been, mate?

Yeah, I've been good and I think ever since

that conversation, I'm hoping we can do this a couple more times as well. Well, yeah, I last saw

you when you were trying on suits at the tailor. Not racing suits, though, actual suits,

Glamour on the grid. How was Australian Grand Prix weekend? We'll get to the crash in a moment. Don't worry. Yeah, no, wish you didn't put that in it. We could have just talking about

the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday before because, yeah, up until Saturday is one of the best

weekends I've had overall. Just every time you go back, every time you get involved with the

Australian community, it feels so special. And the amount of fans that were out this year was even more than last

year. And I feel like hopefully every time I go back, my personal brand is building more and

more and more and people can come on board more and more. So every time I get there on a Wednesday

or Thursday, I'm just impressed of how many Australians know former

two and four more three. In Europe it's much less. So it's very good to see and it just

makes us drivers feel so special even though we're only in former three we feel like Formula

one drivers. So that's yeah, super cool experience and overall it's the best weekend of the year for me.

So now the rest are back to work and a lot of a lot more serious for me as well.

It's weird because three months between races, not what was originally planned.

But I have to ask, fresh off the crash, I just want to know how you're feeling because

there was a bit of recovery involved.
