Summary

Are you overwhelmed by fear? Does the weight of past experiences or the uncertainty of the future cast a shadow over your present? Wherever you are wrestling with fear, this message will reignite hope and encouragement in your soul. Dive into Mark chapter 4 with Chip as he highlights key moments where the disciples were afraid and how Christ comforted them through His power and compassion. Stop allowing fear to dictate your future, and embrace the freedom that comes from trusting Jesus.

Main Points

Two times when we tend to trust:
  1. Desperation: You’re desperate and don’t have a choice
  2. Established trust: Competence, character, and time are prerequisites of who you trust.

I. Lord of the natural realm = Mark 4:35-41

II. Lord of the spiritual realm = Mark 5:1-17

III. Lord of the physical realm = Mark 5:21-34

IV. Lord of the eternal realm = Mark 5:35-43
