Somewhat ironically, we're due to be joined by the general secretary of the RMT, Mick Lynch.

But he is struggling to get to the studio at the moment.

And I can't help thinking that we shouldn't separate these two stories. That the tale of the DP world profits and the tale of the industrial action currently being undertaken

by the RMT with others set to follow are actually inextricably linked.

I think that there is an inextricable connection between the two that many people are desperate

for you not to see.

I've managed to lose them somehow between, on the journey from upstairs to downstairs. So I've got all the newspapers in front of me, but I haven't got all the stories. Off the top of my head then, DP World, the company that owns P&O, got rid of 800 workers without any notice whatsoever, without any warning at all.

Everyone went nuts, and they've just posted profits of hundreds of millions of pounds.

I've got the figure of 800 workers and 60 million pounds. They're probably in the bin.
