But I walked away so impressed with your piece that you did on sports parenting that I was like this, we need to talk about this.

So before we get into like the nuts and bolts of this.

Walk me through what made you want to pitch the story.

Well, it's funny you ask that because as an investigative reporter, I would love to be able to tell you that this story like most of our others, you know, started with a whistleblower

or digging deep into city hall or, you know, started with a whistleblower or digging deep into City Hall or,

you know, exposing some awfulness that needed the bright light of television news. But no,

this idea came from, you know, one of those Saturdays where my kids had like five games and we were just

bouncing from game to game to game to game and thinking about our own life where five nights
