I think a lot of shit is mean-spirited, just because it goes against what they believe.

But the relief of comedy is it take things that aren't funny and it allows us to laugh about them for an hour

another episode of Why You Laughing, a history of comedy podcast. And today, I am pleased to introduce to you the brief rise and rapid fall of DatFam. So if you don't know who that is, I don't blame you.

And I'll just say, we typically cover legends and notable names and even the people like we did, you know, the rise and fall of Dane Cook.

But everyone knows who Dane Cook is.

This is a little more obscure.

I do think it's significant in the history of comedy because I think last

comic standing kind of at an interesting place in what they tried to do and how they failed at it

in some senses. So I do think this is, it fits the category of why you laughing. I do think it's a

history lesson in comedy, but let's just say it won't be on the final exam. This is more, if you listen to the

Blind Mike project, this is more of a personal vendetta. So a little out of the norm for a

why are you laughing episode, but I think we'll stick to our usual, you know, utmost

professionalism.
