Welcome to Sky Talkers. Here are your hosts, Charlotte and Caitlin.

0:15.7

Hello and welcome to Sky Talkers. I'm your host, Charlotte.

0:18.8

Hey, everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin, and we are back from Star Wars Celebration, Chicago, and we are already getting ready for Star Wars Celebration.

0:27.9

Anaheim.

0:31.7

So ready, actually. It's actually kind of crazy. When they announced it, I didn't really have any expectations that they were going to announce it because last celebration we were at, they didn't. And we're all like, huh? But it definitely softened the blow of leaving Chicago just a little bit, knowing that we'd be back in 2020 at a celebration. Yeah, yeah. I'm really excited. I'm excited to go to Anaheim. I'm excited to go to Disneyland. I'm excited for the food trucks.

0:57.1

I'm just a food truck. Everyone freaking talks about the food trucks literally more than anything else when they bring up celebration in Anaheim.

1:05.0

That in this $1 taco situation at the Hilton. Yeah. That's like all. No one's like, oh, I had this great experience. I met like an actor or I did like this panel was amazing. It's like Anaheim, food trucks, tacos. They're like, this setup is so good. There's food trucks. The hotels are right around it. That's all anyone has to say about celebration. I mean, like, I totally relate to this. Oh yeah.. It's so great. Their marketing has worked because, like, they said Anaheim, and my first thought was, oh, my God, the food trucks. I'm so ready. I'm very ready for the food trucks. We didn't necessarily wrap up our celebration experience because the last time we talked to you guys, it was Sunday night and we hadn't fully experienced Monday yet. So maybe we should run through how Monday was, our last day at the convention.

1:49.8

Monday was really fun. It was, I mean, it was a good day. It was a sad day because it was the last day of

1:55.6

celebration. But we went to the Phantom Menace panel, which was interesting.

2:02.7

It was good.

2:07.4

There was no Natalie Portman and no George Lucas, no E. McGregor, and no Liam Neeson.

2:09.0

Yes.

2:17.7

But the panel itself, we talked about this, but we both kind of hyped it up a little bit too much in our heads.

2:23.2

But for what it was, the fact that, like, Natalie Porman wasn't there, the panel itself was really good.

2:27.9

Like, it was really interesting hearing from a lot of the behind the scenes creators.

2:34.6

Like, Gene Voltae, who basically, like, invented the technology, like, helped develop the technology for the CGI and for the motion capture like taking things to the next level amazing why is she

2:40.0

never been to celebration I don't know and I've never heard of her before I feel like a bad

2:44.5

Star Wars fan but I don't know if that's my fault or if that's Lucasfilm's fault or something

2:48.4

like that and I am really really thankful to this panel for, like, introducing me to her.

2:54.6

She was the only woman on stage.

2:59.0

I just realized that, right?

3:01.4

Yes.
