breakdown. Caitlin and I talked about The Rise of Skywalker for six hours. So because that is a huge file, I have decided to edit that down and split that up into two different parts. So this is part two. And in this part, we will cover from where we left off in the last episode to the end of the movie. Just a reminder to listen to part one first, which includes a

disclaimer about the fact that this review is largely negative and critical. And I just really want

everyone to hear what we had to say in the beginning of the last episode before they dive into

this part of the episode, if that's okay. So without further ado, let's get started.

Okay, so back to the scene, though, I think that Kylo really does think that this information will

convince Ray that they're the same. Yeah. His line, my mother was the daughter of Vader,

your father was the son of the emperor. What Palpatine doesn't know, Ray, is that we're a Diyad in the force, die out in the force.

Two that are one.

All complaints about the Palpatine thing aside, this is where I could see if they had been, like, you know, going for the Palpatine thing from the very beginning, which I know that they were not, I would have bought it.

I think that there are potential.

There's potential there to be a really interesting story.

It's like dark Anastasia, right?

And I think that was kind of hotly debated too about like the Anastasia implications even going into this movie, you know?

And I think that it could have worked.

But I do think it's interesting that this point of view is so, it's so structured for Ben being like, look, like we have this legacy.

And like you, it's so hard to live up to the legacy

and we both have that going for us. Like, don't you see? Like we're both, we're so, we're similar.

We're similar in this way. And I don't know. I think it's really interesting. And then of course

she jumps, just like Luke jumps after. Luke reacts though in yeah and then he jumps there's no reaction

yeah I I think it's really interesting because it's like wait what's a diad diad diad diad is it diad or diad I
