Summary
The cost of health insurance is becoming increasingly unaffordable. With many Affordable Care Act marketplace subsidies set to expire, coverage is about to get even more pricier for more than 20 million people next year. These growing costs are fueling interest in a market for cash-only doctors. Today, we'll hear more. But first, all of those government layoffs and employee buyouts have hit the labor market. We’ll discuss.

| 1:09.9 | No, it's a pretty grinchy report. We've lost jobs in three out of the last seven months, |
| 1:14.0 | and the average job growth has been 17,000 jobs for a month, which is miserably low. |
| 1:19.4 | Now, that was partly because of the government, cutbacks in the government, but even the private sector, |
| 1:24.0 | we only saw 46,000 jobs on average created over the last seven months. |
| 1:27.7 | Speaking of government workers, we lost 162,000 government jobs in October. How serious is it |
| 1:35.9 | when such a huge chunk of workers is suddenly out of work? Well, we knew this was coming, |
| 1:42.1 | because what this really is, is back in the spring, a lot of federal workers took a buyout. |
| 1:46.6 | And the way the buyout worked is you got paid through the end of September. |
| 1:51.2 | So this is really a lot of workers who've not been actually in the office for many, many months. |
