Well, we're going to cover all of Daniel four today, so let's pray and we'll dive right in. Father,

I thank you for this time together. God, thank you for the book of Daniel. Thank you for

preserving your word for thousands of years for us. And Lord, I just pray that you would speak to us

from this chapter and from Nebuchadnezzar's testimony and that,

Lord, we can glean exactly out of it what you have for us today. Thank you, God, in Jesus' name.

Amen. Amen. All right. Well, you know, Nebuchadnezzar is an interesting guy and this is the like i said earlier uh this is the

only chapter in the old testament that's written by a gentile king so it's very interesting and

there are some prophetic aspects to nebuchadnezzar and what he goes through from chapter two

through chapter four that we'll look at

kind of at the end but you know as you're studying bible prophecy which the book of daniel is one of

the greatest prophetic books in the bible you definitely need the word of god and the holy spirit

the entire council of god's word and the Holy Spirit to illuminate all of this

for you. So from Genesis to Revelation, the whole book speaks of Jesus. And the Holy Spirit will

illuminate that for you as we dive in here. So if you remember, we're going to get to this, I think,

next week, and we open up chapter 5 with the handwriting on the wall.

But we'll look at the difference between the fall of Babylon and the destruction of Babylon.

And the fall of Babylon, prophetically in the Bible from Isaiah 13 and 14, Jeremiah 1551, and Revelation 17 and 18,

is an event that when we look at it has not happened yet.

The, I'm sorry, the destruction of Babylon.

The fall of Babylon is what we're going to see next week in Daniel 5 with Nebuchadnezzar's grandson

or great-grandson.
