Illuminati and today we're going to be talking about Dr. Phil. Now back on the

YouTube channel I did a video about Dr Oz and even more recently which obviously

came at the podcast I talked about the reality of reality TV and many of you brought up

to me via you know know, Twitter, Instagram, comments on the YouTube videos,

that there seems to be a place for Dr. Phil to be talked about, and if he does have some

skeletons in his closet, that it's time to talk about it since he's almost

less of a doctor and more of a businessman at this point and my God were many of you so right.

So today that's what we are going to be talking about.

This is going to be the part one installment about Dr. Phil and how he is perhaps a little bit

more problematic than you think.

So let's get into it. So Dr. Phil or Phil McGraw was born in Vanita, Oklahoma in 1950.

He moved to Kansas, attended high school there, earned a football scholarship and a PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Texas.

His dissertation called Rheumatoid Arthritis, a psychological intervention, is still available online.

According to Dr. Phil in his younger years, he was homeless and had an alcoholic father,

so I do want to give him credit for these accomplishments at least,

because growing up in that type of environment can be extremely difficult.

Despite the struggles in his childhood, Dr Phil was determined to make something of himself

and went to college for many years in a difficult field, so hey, you got to give credit where credit is due.

In his earlier years before he was famous, Dr. Phil is also credited with founding Pathways,

a lifestyle movement in 1985. The Archives on the Pathways website says he, Dr Phil, founded pathways in 1985 in

Wichita Falls, Texas, where he was a professional psychologist in private practice with his dad, Dr. Joe McGraw.
