Fear Factory has been around since the early 90's and were revolutionary with being one of the 1st heavy metal bands that were experimenting with synths, keyboards, drum machines & clean vocals in such heavy music. They have influenced bands like Machine Head & Slipknot and genres like metalcore. They are also known for their futurist machine like sound & man vs machine themes.
