What's up? Another episode of Riplefect podcast. Today we got Dave Karnacki, the old friend and ex-net. Well, you're still the co-host. No, definitely. You know, it's funny. I was thinking that on the way over here that you're going to call me the co-host, and there's no way. You are. I mean, we just, you think co-weck. Yeah, I mean, you are. I mean, you don't have to do every episode. I was like a me the co-host and there's no way you are i mean we just you think co- yeah i mean you are i mean you don't have to do every i was like a three episode co-host i we were talking about this before the show this idea of how like now you know what it feels like to be in a band you know some of the other situations i was going on and i'm like that's the nice thing about doing podcasts or doing like you know my theory six project, just doing things on your own or even like writing a book. Like if you're writing a book, you only have yourself to blame, you know, it's, or playing single person sports like tennis. You don't have teammates you can blame you. Yeah. You know, so it's, I think it actually makes you step up because if shit doesn't get done you only have yourself to get mad at right right and uh and i think that's i i like that aspect of it because i i can stay up i mean last night i stayed up emailing people for um to get some guests

1:55.0

on i haven't done that in a while and i we're being busy and stuff and it was nice just knowing

2:00.3

that like okay i can set a time.

2:02.0

I do it. I, you know, I've been, I don't have anybody else that I have to, they have to agree with what guests I'm going to have on or what time I'm going to have them on. If I, if somebody writes me back, I don't have to go through these whole channels to be like, oh, well, this works for me. Does this work for you? oh now i can get back to the guest and it's just there is something nice about doing things on your own but um

2:01.1

it was funny because we were also talking with the last person I had on the show. Recently, it was, it's weird because it's like, I have all these people on the show like Eddie Bravo and and authors and filmmakers who like do what they love for living, you know? And it's just like the other day, it kind of depressed me

2:17.8

a little bit because I'm like, I'm doing what I'm doing what I'm doing. and filmmakers who like do what they love for living you know and it's just like the other day it

2:35.4

kind of depressed me a little bit because i'm like i'm like i'm doing what i love but not for living yeah

2:40.5

and it was kind of you know it's it's kind of you know it was kind of a little depressing it was one of those

2:45.3

things where you just kind of feel like shit man like i wish i could do something i enjoyed for

2:50.4

because i just can't get away from

2:52.1

from having you know I can't find something that's pays the bills yeah pays the bills that I love to do

2:57.6

and I feel like people who can are just so lucky like I envy them it's so funny I think everyone has

3:02.9

a point in their life when they're doing something and they they have this realization like I wish

3:07.4

I could get paid

3:08.3

to do this you know you find this thing that you really enjoy doing and the first thought is man I wish

3:14.4

I could just devote my life to doing this and and made a living doing this because I really love

3:20.3
