Today we got a Kara Santa Maria.

She's a, I'm a fan of her podcast.

I actually found out about her, her work on the Young Turks, then saw her on Joe Rogan's

podcast.

And she, she's done a bunch of stuff.

She shows up on, she's done writing for Huffington Post.

She's actually on Adam Scorgy, my last guest's new movie at the Culture High. She's been on tons of different podcasts, shows up on different shows, just kind of supporting science and kind of waving that science flag. And I guess like we're talking about just before we start recording, just kind of, it's cool that she's making it, I guess, fashionable, I guess, in a way. And so I just, I think it's cool because even somebody like me

who's not that much in the science, you kind of, you make it interesting. And a lot of weird topics that I wouldn't find intriguing on my own, you know, I end up hearing a one hour conversation about it on your podcast. And I'm like, I can't move I just sat through that, you know, but, but but thanks care i really appreciate you taking your time to be with me of course thanks so much for

Of course. Thanks so much for having me. One thing I love about your, your podcast, and I think you

in general is how honest you are. It seems like, like Rogan and you and a lot of people who have

successful podcasts and people really like, I think that's one of the things that appeal to us is

really your honesty, because you talk about things like, you know, you've talked about depression

quite a bit on different shows and stuff like that. And that's something I've dealt with growing up

quite a bit. And it was, it was cool because like anytime I do music or whatever, I, I always like kind of it helped me kind of get

my emotions on paper and then it kind of helped me kind of I guess face it and then I think it made

it easier for me to talk to people about it because I was always like tapping into that like dark

you know I guess those dark moments or whatnot so it made it kind of easier because I was constantly
