I believe in the ripple effect.

The rippleipple. What's up? Another episode of the Ripple Effect podcast. Like usual, me and Dave Karnacki.

1:02.7

We'll probably get into a conversation pretty quickly. The only thing I am going to say is

1:06.9

thanks everybody who's listening to this stuff because I know I keep saying it every episode,

1:10.5

but I really appreciate the fact that we put out an episode and almost 48 hours later,

1:15.9

we have like 100 plays and listens and downloads and stuff.

1:19.2

And I think it's amazing.

1:20.3

I don't know who the hell is listening to it.

1:21.5

Honestly, I have no idea because I don't think Potomatic gives any real statistics on where or who's listening to it. But whoever it is, it's pretty amazing because, like I said, it's only a fourth episode. Yeah, I can think of a handful of people. You know, you have a number in your mind of people that you know or people that we talk to or relate to and talk about this too. And then the number is far more than that. So they're, there are total strangers. Yeah, yeah. Well, the thing is with me, it's at 100, it seems like a lot because it's like, nobody's listening to this stuff more than once, I assume, you know. They're like probably listen to it once, twice, maybe. And then after that, you're not going to listen it again. So I don't even know about twice maybe Maybe. Maybe not even once. Maybe nobody gets through the whole thing. It is 95 minutes or whatnot. So if you're listening and you don't listen to the whole thing through the ending is always the best. So hang in there. Well, you know what's funny? Some of our podcasts have been like that, like episode two, we've gotten the very end of it, we got in like a couple of really good

2:17.5

conversations.

2:18.3

Yeah, yeah.

2:18.5

And I'm like, I remember listening back, I'm like, oh, because I once forgot what we talked about. And, uh, because usually I'm all over the place. But, uh, so I went back and I'm like, holy shit. I'm like, we were making some pretty good points. I'm like, I hope somebody got this far into the podcast. I'll listen to it because I'll go to hashtag stuff to put it on Twitter to get some interest.

2:19.2

And... points. I'm like, I hope somebody got this far into the podcast. I'll listen to it and because I'll go to hashtag stuff to put it on Twitter to get, get some interest. And I'll be sitting there thinking like, what did we talk about? And I'll have to listen to it to be like, oh yeah, that's right. No, jot little notes. Oh, I do the same thing. Every time I put it on Twitter and I hashtag things. I'm constantly like, I don't see this stuff that you put down. I'm like, we talked about that? Yeah, yeah. And you, and same thing with you. You put stuff up and

2:37.3

I'm just like, wait, we talked about that. I'm like like... And I'll see this stuff that you put down. I'm like, we talked about that? Yeah. Yeah. And same thing with you. You put stuff up and I'm just like, we talked about that.

2:54.5

I'm like, oh, that's right. And then all of a sudden I remember like a little piece of that conversation. But that's a cool thing about conversations is that they kind of go anywhere and then go just like before we got here. I wish we were taping something

2:47.9

I know even at dinner

2:49.2

Even at dinner

2:49.2

The conversation we had

2:50.7

But it's uh

2:51.5

It's funny because that's exactly why I started this podcast

2:54.3

Because those type of conversations I wanted to capture, but you don't realize how spontaneous they are and how you never know when they're going to happen. And, uh, and I guess we try to do our best of having them now while the record button is, uh, you know what? I think we do a pretty good job of catcher in those conversations.

3:24.3

I think we might start off a little rocky, but then we kind of just get rolling and then it turns into that. Well, it's a shame that we can't do this for a living. You know how good we would be? You know, just being able to have like a clear mind to gather your thoughts and put things together and then talk, you know? Well, like we talked about earlier tonight, this is like an escape from work.
