number of friends I'm a little bit of the What's up everybody, welcome to a ripple effect podcast. Today we've got a comedian. I've been watching for a long time.

The Amazing Jonathan, he's been around since I believe the early 80s doing comedy.

And, well, comedy slash, bless you, slash magician.

Actually, that's a good question for you.

Do you consider yourself a comedian who does magic or a magician who does comedy?

I've got it right in between, man.

I've got it right on the line.

Maybe a little I lean towards hanging out with comedians more than magicians.

But, yeah, I pretty got a pretty much got a 50-50 blend on that one.

Yeah, yeah, because you hang out with a lot of magicians.

So, I mean, you obviously relate to them and you're intrigued with their work.

And did what was it, what came first?

Your first comedy show, your first magician act?

Probably magic.

I started as a magician and I didn't really get very proficient at that craft.

You know, I was pretty bad at it.

So I switched to comedy after I did my high school talent show, which bombed so horribly

that I had to never do magic again after that night.

I mean, that was the worst night of probably of any performer.
