Dr. Valerie Tureko is a psychologist, she's an author, she's a social commentator, she talks about issues like religious fundamentalism and gender roles and family planning and other issues.

She's written for publications like alternate and the Huffington Post, she's the author of two books, I think that's right.

I know she's written trusting doubt, a former evangelical looks at old beliefs in a new light.

Tell me about your latest book, real fast Dr. Tureko, the title of it is.

Diaz and other imaginings was my second book, it's actually quite different in that.

It's a bunch of folktales that I wrote for my daughters when they were young and my editor found out about it and asked if she could turn it into a real book.
