Is there a right way to make bread? Are you a bread eater? I certainly am.

Personally I lean towards sour dough. I like it to arrive sliced but otherwise I pretty much enjoy all bread and oh yes when the

bread basket comes at a restaurant I love to dive in and we know that there are like

millions of different types of bread too, especially those with

different intolerances now, all the different kinds of bread. I love it. What a candy store.

Actually never met a piece of bread I didn't like, but I don't want to digress here.

Why am I talking about bread today? Because of a story I heard that I feel can be indicative of so many things in our life when we live unexamined lives, when we don't question

things, and when we simply fail to be conscious.

But back to this, bread story, this is a friend of mine who told me this story and I'm just like,

take a step back, inquire, ask questions. And it goes like this. There was a granddaughter,

granddaughter who always made her famous family bread, right?

to additional daughters. Maybe the men got involved too, but this was a particular story of women and the granddaughter was

putting together the bread right putting it getting it ready for the pan and putting it

in the oven and someone asked you know why do you always make the bread exactly 14 inches right so
