Hey guys, great to be here.

This really is a subject where everybody has, I think, a horror story attached to it.

And let me ask you this, what is the worst example of firing that you've ever seen or been personally associated with.

You know the way this typically works is it's behind closed doors so you don't get to

witness this but the first time I did witness at least the impact of it was early in my career

and this was back in the days before email even back in the days before

facts so these were you know this is prehistoric times, but what happened was at a company I was working for, we laid off about half the sales force. So this was about 10 people and they all received not a phone call but a letter in the

mail.

Oh, it's terrible.

And basically what it said was you're terminated, this is the end of your service you know here's

the severance whatever but nothing personal I'm going to tell you something
