All right, welcome to week five of our B-free series with the Deepin podcast.

I'm going to start with this question, Pastor Jobi.

It's Beach Baptism Week.

Let's go.

And one of our favorite weeks at 1122.

So talk about what was behind what we call big momentum events, as we have four from every year.

And just share for anybody who doesn't know what those are

and why we do them. Well, there's a couple of things working there. Part of it is my youth ministry

background, so we had a big event, fall, winter, spring, summer. I always felt like we were getting

ready for it or coming off the momentum of it. I thought that was a good idea. I was at a meeting one time with

Pastor Rick Warren, who God continues to do, continues to do amazing things. And he said,

you can't create momentum. And I thought, I think you can. I think, you know, look at Valentine's Day.

That's not somebody just...

Hallmark figured it out. Made that up. We all bought into it and we have to do something about it.

So, you know, the church calendar, not like the official, like liturgical calendar, but we got

Christmas and Easter given to us, you know, by modern Christian history. And so, but there was

never really anything in the summer or in the fall, right?

And so I thought, what if we just established some family rhythms as a church family
