We are living in dark days, but the God who is all light watches over his own.

He sees through the shadows and he can see us through the most difficult seasons of life.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. And today on enjoying the journey,

There's nothing worse than the sickening feeling of being lost, knowing you've made a wrong turn, conscious that you have no idea where you are or how to get back on the right path,

and for just a moment, that feeling that is one of despair.

But may I tell you what's worse than that?

To live that way.

No, let me tell you what's even worse than that, to die that way.

That's what sheep will do without a shepherd.

Oh, there's so many sheep that do not have a shepherd.

Remember, Jesus looked over the multitudes and wept because they were sheep not have a shepherd. Remember Jesus looked over the multitudes and

wept because they were sheep not having a shepherd. I think you must weep over this world.

Today I think Jesus must weep over this wayward world, over wandering souls, looking

everywhere to get their needs met and everything they need. The shepherd provides.

The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me

beside the still waters. We've learned, first of all, that when the Lord has his rightful place in our

life, when the sheep are allowing the shepherd to do what the shepherd wants to do, when they're not

budding up against him, when they're not acting more like goats than they are sheep, when they're

letting the shepherd be the shepherd, that the Lord always brings them to rest and to peace.
