On today's show, I'm going to talk about the five guards that are around the Mavericks range. Keaton Wogler, Darius Aikov, Kingston, Fleming's, Mikel, Brown, Braden Burrys. We think they're all kind of going to be around in that range. I're not going to talk about Liberon Fylon right now, but he obviously will be two. Darren Peterson won't be. That's the other guard in the top 10. But I'm going to talk about all those guards. Talk about what they would change about the Mavericks roster construction going forward because we know Cooper Flag is the centerpiece of all this. but how do you change things around with all these other guards?

So let's start with the guard that I think is going to be the best fit for the Mavericks going forward.

Because I look at all these guards and I look at what is needed in the NBA playoffs right now.

You look at what is required from a Donovan Mitchell, a Jalen Brunson, a, you know, an SGA, even like what

Stefan Castle is kind of done, but obviously Wembe is the number one player there.

But if you look at these guards specifically, you've got to be such a high level guard to

be the star of the team, to lead a team offensively, to be the guy that

runs everything on offense. You've got to be at such a high level there that there are so

many guards that are really good offensive guards that just fall by the wayside and they can't

get it done. And so when I'm looking at a Darius Acuff, a Keaton, even a Kingston, a Kingston Fleming, even a Mikel Brown, like those four guys, those guys all are offensive initiators.

They're all shooters to varying degrees.

They all are creators.

And you have to be so good at that level.
