So as always, folks, we want to let you know this is a two-part series.

We looked around not too long ago, Noel Max and yours truly, and we said, hey, why did people have to pay to

poop and why don't they have to pay to poop now in the United States?

As you'll recall, there was a Band-Aid solution to this great sanitation problem in centuries past for this emergent nation.

And eventually, the country arrived at the idea of pay toilets.

You had to have a dime in your hand to get the poop or the pee out of you.

And people beat me here, Max, do a fart sound instead of a beep, if you could.

People fucking hated it.

They really hated it.

There was an absolute backlash from the public.

It's sort of like paywalls for podcasts.
