The Bible teaches that every believer in Jesus has a treasure that can never be lost or stolen.

Let's learn about the riches of God's grace today.

Would you like to be rich? If you were really honest, most people would say,

count me in. Let me ask you this, what would it take to make you feel rich?

Well, how much of that would you have to have to be rich?

Well, the truth is that a lot of people are rich and don't know.

They're just looking in the wrong places.

And what I want to talk about in this message is simply this.

And that is the riches of God's grace.

And I want you to turn it to you, Will, to Ephesians chapter 1.

And I want you to read just a few verses of this first chapter. And Paul, beginning in the third verse of this first chapter, says,

Blessed be the God in Father of all Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

And he says, just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world,

that we would be holy and blameless before him, in love he predestined us to adoption his sons through Jesus Christ to himself,

according to the condentation of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

In him that is in Christ, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

which he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.

Now here's what I'd like for us to do. I'd like for us to think about it in this light.

What I am about to share, these are the characteristics of God's grace to us.

Then we'll talk about what the expressions of God's grace are.

But let me remind you what grace is. Grace is God's unirred, undeserved favor, love and kindness taught us in spite of what we deserve.
