Summary

In 1967, James and Annie Mae Richardson were trying to make it in Arcadia, Florida. They both worked in an orange grove and had seven children whose ages ranged from two to eight. On Oct 25th, 1967, the unthinkable happened when all seven of the Richardson children became violently ill and were rushed to the hospital. Six of the children died that day and the seventh died the following day. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the heartbreaking case of the murders of the Richardson children. The police focused very quickly on the father James after finding some incriminating evidence at the family apartment. It didn't take a jury long to find James guilty in the murders of his children. It would take many years to uncover the truth, that the entire justice system conspired to convict James Richardson so that they could close the case quickly.
