Welcome to Grow Cook Eat Arrange with me, Arthur Parkinson for a Chelsea Flower Show special.

I am solo today, so everybody who has been wanting me to be back on, you've got me for the best part of 20 minutes talking all things Chelsea because

dear Sarah is, I think today, travelling back from Scotland. She's been in Scotland writing a book.

So Sarah's been in lovely tranquil Scotland, probably looking at lovely views and I'm sure eating

and cooking delicious food and copy editing her book. Whereas I have been in very bustling, crowded, hot,

but extra, extra beautiful London for Chelsea Flower Show, 2025. And it's a long week for me these

days because I go on the Monday, which is press day. And years previously, of course, I've been

working for Sarah because last year we had a stand this year.

We didn't have a stand.

So I go to Chelsea when I'm not necessarily working it, years like this, just in awe of everybody who has put all the effort into creating the show, whether you're on a show garden or in the Great Pavilion that, of course, gets all the media attention.

But I equally, I take my hat off to all the trade stands that are there at Chelsea,

because for anyone who's visited, you will quickly realise Chelsea is very much a garden shop-a-thon.

And you have to put a lot of effort into your trade stand.

So it's a long week for everybody and a long week for everybody prior to the show opening because you're setting up. So my week started on the Monday. I got into London,

I think about quarter past nine, because even on press day, you have to get there as early as you

can to get the whole feel of the show before it gets too busy with various celebs and press
