It's that time of year.

The great and good of the horticultural world have descended upon the borough of Chelsea and Kensington

to reopen in May the world's most famous flowers show.

This is my second year at the show and I absolutely love it.

The excitement and a joy of through nature and the flowers is actually magnificent.

Everybody is here for a grand celebration of horticulture. I love coming here. It's just the most

fabulous explosion of every different kind of idea you could have for a garden. Every plant, every piece of

sculpture. A day out at the flower show is, you know, absolutely fabulous and good for everyone's soul, you know.

I'm Tom Howard, editor of the Garden Magazine, and I'm here just outside the Great Pavilion, where over 60 of the world's finest nurseries are here to show off the very best they have to offer.

And I've got to say the atmosphere on site is jubilant despite the slightly overcast weather.

This is the first May Chelsea we've had for three years. Last year was in September.

so there was a real feeling that things are back to normal and it's very exciting. There's a hustle
