Oh boy, do I've got some

stories to share with all of you. Let's get into our time capsules right now and head all the way

back to end of 2005, kind of like the beginning of 2006, when I decided basically just to pack my

bags and you know what? head to Los Angeles to join

the cast. So let me quickly start off first by walking you through how I even got there in the

first place or here technically. For all of my fans and possibly for any loyal listeners of this

podcast, you probably have only heard snippets of my journey

to L.A. And now you're about to hear how your girl went from Harlem to Hollywood to holding a

mirror ball trophy. So basically, I auditioned for Dancing with the Stars when I was 20 years old,

and I'm 39 now turning 40 on May 3rdrd just in case you wanted to send me any flowers.

Kidding. Time actually, I'm not kidding, flies when you're having fun, right? When I got the call

from one of the producers of the show to see if I was interested in auditioning, I had actually
