If you have your Bible is open to John, Chapter 14. How many of you have enjoyed the last couple

weeks, Michael, talking about women in the church.

It's been awesome.

You know, I oftentimes, when I think of scripture

and I think of who I can relate to the most in scripture,

as much as I would love to say, it's the beloved John,

or the zealous Peter, the fiery Elijah, the strong and courageous Joshua. I honestly find

myself more in the narrative of the Pharisees than anybody else. And, you know, the Pharisees, their

job was to be leading the people to God, but they were the ones who missed the Messiah when he

came, because he just didn't fit in their box. The way he was presented, the way God had wrapped the Messiah, the way God had wrapped

the son and the body he wrapped him in, the Pharisees thought there's no way.

And yet they were kind of intrigued by him.

And you see the Pharisees invite Jesus into their home.

And in the home of a religious leader, the greatest worship set

that has ever hit the earth happens. And it's led by a woman. Don't know if you know this,

but it's led by a woman and her name is Mary. And Jesus says, this is what Jesus has to say of this worship set.

He says, wherever the gospel is preached for all of eternity, what this woman has done, it will be
