And on today's edition of the word for today, Pastor Chuck continues his message,

the revelation of God through Jesus, as we pick up in Hebrews chapter one, verse one.

And now with today's study, here's chuck let's turn to the first chapter of

hebrews there's been quite a bit of discussion as to the authorship of this book of Hebrews.

And many different suggestions have been offered by different scholars.

Needless to say, we don't know, there was no autograph on it,

so we don't know for certain who was the author of the book of Hebrews. It is my own personal opinion that Paul the apostle

was the author. It seems to have a Pauling style. However, that's only my opinion, which is worthless,

and it's only what God says that you can put your real confidence in. So whenever I say

something, I like to let you know that's my own thought, and you know, you can throw it out

if you want and say, well, you know, that's just what he thinks. And you should be doing that.

You should prove all things and hold fast that which is good.

So for what it's worth, it would seem that Paul was the author to me,
