Hello, I'm Bex, and welcome to the Week Junior.

Today I'm joined by two of the team from The Week Junior, the magazine Making Sense of the World for 8 to 14 year olds.

We've got Writers Eve and Joe.

Today we're going to be talking about the upcoming return of Doctor Who, some wildlife

conservation success stories and an unusual joke competition in Margate. There's also going to be

a big debate about whether you should go to school if you're sick.

So on the subject of Dr. Who, last week we talked about where we would go if you could travel

anywhere in space.

And this week I want to know, where would you go if you could travel anywhere in time?? I'm going to give the answer I always say if I'm asked this question which is weirdly quite a lot

The Victorian era I would go back to be the Victorian times I would be maybe friends with Charles Dickens perhaps

perhaps friends with Victoria herself I'd be rich is what I'm saying I want to be

poshed in Victorian times. Maybe I could eat one of the first cabry chocolate bars I

don't know that's that's where I would aim for.

Eve, how about you? Well, keeping on the theme of famous authors like Charles Dickens. I would love to go back in time and watch a

Shakespeare play, but like the first the first you know like the first ever

Romeo and Juliet it's opening night Shakespeare's nervous on the edge of the stage and I'd

love to see it see what it was like see what the big deal is all about.

But also if I'm mentioning Shakespeare, I feel like I also need to mention Jane Austin,

because I love Jane Austin, author of Pride and Prejudice,

I'd love to just meet her as well and say to her well without kind of

destroying the space-time continuum I'd like to kind of let her know I love her books but

maybe I'd just pretend to be like a fan at the time like I'd go up to her after she's just
