Good morning. It is Saturday, October the 11th. Mark this as the week when Donald Trump's

campaign of retribution ramped up. The week when one of his perceived political enemies was

arraigned in court. Another was formally indicted, and a third is expected to face

criminal charges in the coming days. It's all happening out in the open as the retribution presidency

that Donald Trump promised on the campaign trail arrives. Last night, MSNBC broke the news

that criminal charges are expected to be filed soon against Donald Trump's former national security

advisor, John Bolton.

Bolton has a long history of budding heads with the president.

He's remained a vocal Trump critic ever since he was fired from the first Trump administration.

In August, federal agents executed a search warrant of Bolton's home looking for suspected classified records.

Possible charges against him, which could come as

early as next week, appeared likely to invoke his handling of classified information.

Now, that news dropped just 24 hours after a grand jury in Alexandria, Virginia, indicted

New York's Attorney General Letitia James. She's been charged with one count of bank fraud and one count of making

false statements. James forcefully denies the charges against her, and in a statement, she called her

prosecution, quote, the president's desperate weaponization of our justice system, end quote.

James was the one you'll remember who brought a civil fraud suit against the Trump organization, a case that she initially won.

It resulted in a half a billion dollar penalty, but that penalty was recently voided by an appeals court.

But the saga's not over yet. James says she's planning to appeal that decision.

That lawsuit damaged Trump's reputation and image as a successful businessman, which is perhaps why James appears to be the near-the-top of Trump's enemies list, the second of his perceived foes to be indicted.

The first was the former Attorney General, James Comey. Last month, he was charged with one count of making a false statement to Congress and one count of obstructing

a congressional proceeding. This week, Comey was arraigned in federal court. He pleaded not guilty. His
