Wednesday night, we continue our verse by verse study through the Bible, and I love to have you join us there.

But we're going to be finishing up, Lord willing, John chapter 20.

So would you turn there with me as we take our text from our upcoming Wednesday night study?

But this really is kind of a part two of what we started last Sunday.

And the discussion is about the resurrection.

And we're gonna do part two of that.

Last Sunday we talked about what does the resurrection mean to us?

Why does it matter?

Why not just say, well, yeah, yeah, yeah, I believe in God. I believe in Jesus that he died on the cross.

But this whole resurrection thing, why is it even important?

And I gave you seven reasons, if you recall, verification for who he is.

Jesus is God who died on the cross.

How do we know?

Because he rose from the grave to prove it.

It's also confirmation of his power to have life over death, power over death, confirmation,

substantiation of his claims of what he's able to do.

That was all done.

When he rose from the grave, it substantiated his claims.

And then number four, brought to us salvation for anyone who would believe and accept the work of Jesus,

is death, burial, and resurrection.

And then intercession.

When Jesus rose from the grave, it says he ever liveth to make intercession for us.
