which isn't really a surprise, is it? I've got my colleague Jeremy Seagull, host of Political Dispatch.

Scotty! How's it going?

You know that feeling when you've watched like 12 hours of CNN straight and feel like you got nothing

out of it.

To talk election results or lack of results.

We're reading the signs and giving you what we know.

Here's what we know.

Donald Trump has won Ohio and Iowa and Florida, you know, basically this collection of states that he won in 2016 where polling had Biden looking very good in 2020 and he has

won those and you know cut off a lot of avenues to the presidency for Biden.

However, neither of them is anywhere near clinching 270 electoral votes. So you know we're we're in

this limbo situation that we've actually been talking about and writing about for

a while and so you know we're prepared for it but but you know living

through it is a little bit of a different experience but we know that you know

the most important states from 2016, the ones that tipped the presidency to

Trump, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin.

They're all counting slowly because of the vagaries of state law how they deal with their

mail vote and so we're going to be stuck here for a little while until they count their vote.

And so you had Joe Biden come out and say I'm feeling good.

We feel good about where we are. We really do.

You had Donald Trump come out and go a little bit farther than that say, you know, his

campaign is preparing legal actions, say that there's a fraud being perpetrated.
