I'm John. Thank you so much for joining us today. We are back. It is our new show here. We're going to talk all about the latest

news, rumors, and crazy theories and speculations going out there online with Star Wars. But, you know,

first, obviously, there is a more important things going on in the world besides Star Wars,

and that's probably why you may have noticed we did not put out an episode on Thursday, nor did we put out the Mando Fan Show on Friday.

We just collectively made the decision that it was, it didn't make sense for us to be putting

out content and promoting content about space fantasy when all these things that are happening in the world globally now with the Black Lives Matter movement and the murder of George Floyd and everything that has come down with it. We wanted to make sure that everything that was going on, especially online because it's a big focus with Star Wars podcast, that sort of thing, with promotion and that sort of stuff. We wanted to make sure all the focus went to the proper things,

and that's what's going on in the real world, and people are really hurting out there. And we

just want to let everyone know that not only do we make that decision, but that we're also,

we are listening, more importantly than anything. You know, I'm a white dude from Long Island and Connecticut.

I had three black classmates in my graduating class.

No one is looking to hear me preach about what's going on right now.

So more importantly than anything, I'm listening,

and I just want to know people have my full support and our full support,

and we are listening to everyone out there who is hurting and we hope

that with this episode today where we do get into the fun stuff that we're doing those of you

that have chosen to watch and listen to us today can get a little bit of enjoyment and maybe

some escapism and that's what star wars provided for decades for people. So we just wanted to let everybody know that.

I feel like I don't necessarily have a place to speak on the problems.

But at the same time, I respect everyone that's hurting right now and support them fully.
