Geez, it's August. Welcome back, everybody. This is the resistance broadcast. I'm John. Thank you for joining us.

This is our Monday show, news show. When news is quiet and Star Wars,

the rumors, as we always tell you, really start running rampant. And that is not stopped.

But the latest one had our heads absolutely spinning because it involves something that's

very near and dear to us. With me, as always, is James and Lacey.

Before we get into all that stuff, I guess Brey Larson came out and said that that Star Wars movie she auditioned for was actually Rogue One.

And she didn't say what role, but you got to assume it was for Gin Erso.

So I wonder what that does to that movie if brie larsson plays gin urs instead of felicity jones like would it have been in an american accent which

you've had to try a british accent i wonder what that would have done to i mean obviously

that movie went through a lot of changes in itself but very curious to see see what that would, like, how, what's your take on it?

Would you have pictured her handling that role?

It's weird because when I, when I first came across Bree Larson, I was like, oh, she's really good.

And then she's kind of dropped for me.
