Republicans are looking to pick up seats that could give them the majority in the Senate, with tight races in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. According to the New York City Mayor's office, over 200 thousand migrants have come to the city since 2022, and over sixty thousand are in its care. Many of these individuals struggle to receive work permits and visas, making it extremely difficult to find legal jobs.
